The campground is clean and very well maintained. Wonderful place to relax & enjoy!
We tent camped for 5 nights with 5 adults & 6 kids ages 4-10yr. We had a wonderful time. Kids could fish from the dock, play at the playground, kayak, swim at the beach, played mini golf and enjoy air hockey & ping pong!
Staff very friendly. Very well kept. Quiet. Clean. Enjoyed our visit, we were passing through found on Good Sam app. Right on lake. Activities for whole family. Beautiful place.
Stayed at Schreier's on Shetek July 2017, it was the first time we were there, tent camping with another family. The facilities are extremely well maintained, the owners/staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. It was a nice combination of seasonal and transient camping, and it was a fantastic "mini-vacation" for us all. The only downside was the swimming area was full of rocks, it got sandy after you got out about 20 feet from the shore, so it wasn't a huge deal. -It's a lake so not much you can do about it. All in all it was a great place to stay, great service and we all had a fantastic time there. They have mini-golf, ping pong, an air conditioned game room, and all the benefits of camping in the great outdoors as well. Onsite laundry is another added benefit. Will definitely stay there again!
Great place to stop by. Mostly seasonal campers here. There are a few empty spots for folks passing through it appears. Very friendly folks. Clean campground. Beautiful lake and trails. Would return. Be aware, it is on a dirt road a couple miles.
There was never a dull moment.
A beautiful country retreat on Lake Shetek. We stayed Friday-Sunday and had a great experience. There are a lot of seasonal campers here along with temporary, but with how spread out things are and with the variety of activities to do, it never felt crowded or busy. All sites had shade trees, and easy access to amenities. The beach is small but very nice, clean, and shaded. The perfect place to spend a warm summer day. Restrooms and showers are of plenty and are very well kept. We plan to return in the future.
